I am currently running Redhat 9 on a sager 5680. Everything was fine for about a week and a half. Yesterday morning I booted the machine and the pointer acts crazy. It keeps jumping to the bottom left of the screen and acts like the left or right button is clicked or held down randomly. This behavior occurs with or without an external mouse plugged into the ps2 port, so I am assuming it is the touchpad that is causing the problems.

Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
